Betty Jean Brown
Betty Jean Brown was born in Pelham, NC (Caswell County). Reared along with nine siblings, Betty's parents instilled in her a strong work ethic that will serve her well as she seeks yet another challenge in her career in the court system.
She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Bennett College for Women in Greensboro and a Juris Doctor from the School of Law at North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC.
Betty is an active member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where she serves with the Steward's Ministry, Legal Committee, and Executive Council. In her spare time, Betty enjoys hiking the great outdoors (has hiked most of the trails in Guilford County), travel, and short term missions trips.
